  It doesn't work on Linux because the option is displayed in that
pretty blue Windows-only colour in the documentation. The keyboard
handling is a bit unusual for this command as it has to watch that the
Ctrl key is still depressed so it knows on a second hit of Tab to go
to the third buffer rather than return to the first and this hasn't
been implemented on GTK+. Since the option doesn't work everywhere, it
is not the default.
