I've gotten back to my Linux (Mandriva Free 2007) machine, and even have a one way pipe from my WinXP to the Linux box - I can get onto the Linux box from Windows but not the other way around.

With this partial success of sharing the SciTE source code, I've started working on my old job/command revision, in the v1.74 release. Boy was I out of date, I was still running 1.67!

The windows source compiles, I've not exhaustively tested the revisions. And the GTK source compiles, but no job runs - I just saw a "segmentation fault" on the command line, and a previous attempt gave a large stack trace, but nothing meaningful to me.

So the rhetorical question is, how do I debug this? My Linux experience is really limited, heck I cannot even find where aliases are set nor change one to suit my preferences. Well I can type in the command, but I want to put it into my start up script - which I did - but it does not 'take'.
