No problem. I have used the card with a Towitoko CHIPDrive reader/Gemplus
410 and MUSCLE PCSC. (I have proprietary reader code for the SetCAD 203
reader. It is quite simple, and probably one could easily made the reader to
be MUSCLE enabled. It uses direct serial 9600, even parity, two stop bits
and no flow control. Card is reseted by claring and setting the RTS.)
We implemented a PKCS#11 module which with we connect to Netscape/Mozilla. I
do not know about Konqueror. Client auth/SMIME email works without problems.
I have been running the Linux tests on a RedHat 7.1 and 7.2, but I do not
see any problems with other distros either...
