Hi Guys and Gals I have a problem. I am looking for similar system, solution or leads to arrive at solution for this.
In the following scenario: A smart card reader is connected to a computer which is running linux on it. now all I want to do is read the encrypted data from the smart card, change or append some data on card. connect this offline linux machine to network sometime and then upload the data on central server. I know this is very very basic problem, but Where do I get the smart cards and reader with linux drivers for it? At what cost? How do these smart cards deploy cryptographic routines in them? What are capabilities in terms of processing power of these card?
