I'd like to announce a Ruby extension for the PC/SC Lite API:

This extension has been tested on FreeBSD 4.4 with
Ruby 1.6.5 and PC/SC Lite for UNIX 1.0.0B. Generally,
it should work on any platform where Ruby and
PC/SC Lite do.
The documentation is included in the distribution.
A FreeBSD port of pcsc-lite 1.0.0B will follow soon
(unless someone has already done it). I will also
submit a FreeBSD port for this Ruby extension.
