Luovic Rousseau and I support  ifd-gempc but we do not support gp-core 
any more.

These cards will not support strong crypto authentication and should not 
work with PAM (no a PK card).

It looks like the reader driver works normally (the card returned an ATR 
and 6D00 after an APDU). However smartsession uses GPK16000 cards and 
not GemClub Memo (hence the 6D00).

You need to install the musclecard framework or the PKCS#11 available on
