Actually, Leroy Everett had the baby, he replied to my post which I think is what might have been confusing! Congrats to Leroy and Miranda Everett on their addition of Ravien! -----Original Message----- From: Brion Hase [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, March 10, 2002 9:39 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [sclug-general] SCLUG General List I just wanted to post a follow-up to the meeting for those of you who couldn't make it the meeting due to the weather or other reasons. The meeting today went well for those of us who made it. Our numbers where down due the weather, but we only had over a dozen and half or so who made it. We held off Ryan's presentation on bash, shell and the command line until next month. Mike gave a good presentation on security, but its a subject that I'm sure we will have to cover again sometime down the road. Security is such a big subject and is constantly changing. Mike did some real interesting demonstrations using Ethereal and some port scanning software. I covered the News. We are looking for second presentation or speaker which should take around 30 minutes for the April meeting. Anyone who has something in particular they want to see should post it to the list, better yet you can be a presenter. Install Fest. There is a group consensus building that we should hold the install fest in May. Congrats to Daniel Kuecker for his contributing a new future Linux Community member (a baby). Brion.
