I personally like NFS, but you need an NFS client for windows. I would think
setting it up under samba would be fine too.

Subject: [sclug-general] how best to share network drives?

Say I wanted to share a zip drive out on my linux server on my home LAN.
Whats the best way to do that? Set it up as a samba share and connect with
samba? Or use NFS? I've never done anything with NFS. I want to connect
to it with mainly Linux desktops, and maybe a Windows box once in a great
while. Thanks.
