Grab and burn 2 copies of the Knoppix ISO from
http://www.linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=44

<BEGIN RANT>Be sure to give at least 1 Knoppix CD to your Windoze friends.
Tell'em it runs from CD only and won't install anything on their PC
harddisk. They'll be impressed when the entire CD-based system boots
quicker than Windows, recognizes AND CONFIGURES all hardware and comes with
an attractive desktop loaded with software. Don't immediately mention Linux
because they'll probably spout "Shareware?!?!?!?" become withdrawn as their
minds brownout to the late eighties/early ninties when MS/DOS was King and a
shareware program was the result a lone programmer of GWBASIC or God forbid,
a VB app for Win3.1. Rather, mention that the software on the Knoppix CD
is the collective effort of an International team of software engineers
numbering in the hundreds or thousands. Mention that it's features and
functionality could easily justify a retail price of over $1000 but the
"team" believes everyone deserves quality software with free upgrades. If
they're still not convinced because they think "free != quality" then kindly
direct them to Staples or Best Buy. There they can find the same quality
software in pretty consumer friendly shrinkwrap packaging at a very modest
price from corporations (Red Hat/Mandrake) willing to provide paid
maintenance/support services.<END RANT>

I think we should just refer to that flavor as "Ted Kat Linux" or simply
"Tk Linux".

Jeff, where does one get Knoppix Linux? Sounds pretty cool.
