I work for the ISP in Sergeant Bluff. Not to toot my own horn or anything,
but I think we have pretty good service. As far as highspeed in Sioux City,
not alot there. Local cable company has service, and from my own personal
experience it's not the greatest but beats dial-up. As far as our coverage
(Long Lines) we do dsl and telephone in Sgt. Bluff, in Sloan, Salix and
Whiting (south of here) we do telephone, dsl, and CATV. to the north we
cover Jefferson SD with telephone, dsl, and CATV. I wouldn't say we a re
necessarily linux friendly... Our phone techs don't know boo about linux,
but it's all we run on the backside of our operation. We basically hand out
dhcp address's and if you've got dhcpcd running your good to go. Other than
that what else makes and ISP linux friendly???
