Just did an invitory :)
Here is a list of what I have so far,
1. 5 atx power supplies 3 at power supplies
2. 5 hard drives { all capable of at least a min-install }
3. aprox. 400 MB of 72 pin sim ram
4. 4 network cards{ 3 100/10.MB, 1 10.MB}
5. 4 video cards
6. 5 nic/video intergrated PII mb, 3 PII mb, 1 486, 1 386
7. 1 monitor
8. 5 ide cables
9. 1 mouse
0. 1 keyboard
1. 1 686 cyrix 133 Mhz cpu
2. 2 stackable hubs {10 MBps i think}
3. 1 nice server cabnet
I have some problems with what I got. The Intergrated boards only
take Dimm ram and I only have 0 of thoughs. Cpu'es are another
must have {233 socket 7}. And now for something completly different,
even if we get 100 PII 233 boards in the cluster they all add up to
about the same speed as a 800 Mhz workstation. But for me this is more
of an experience than a project to build a powerfull super computer.
What do you guys think?
