Brion and I have talked to some local places so at least that idea is being explored :)
the cost is still if'y, with the mother boards I have now the cost for cpu's && memory alone runs up to aprox. $200 give or take fifty bucks. and if we add more nodes the price soars ever higher. ebay seems to be the place to get the cpu's; best price I see for a 233 MMX PII is 9.99. Memory on the other hand... it's cheap but not that cheap. I made some SCLUG shirts to sell at the install fest for the cluster project.
