I will get the final rules on the server tonight ("honeypot dot sclinux.org"). I
didn't have a chance to do it last night. Apache/Php are installed now, but I have to
get some of the other services running (FTP, mail, etc...). I recommend you check out
the index page on the site tonight (print it), because that information may not be
available later. Plus I am going to throw a couple web packages on the web site.
Here are the rules for the contest:
a. No activity between the hours of 7am to 4pm. I may even put a set of ipchains on
to enforce this.
b. No DoS attaches with the exception of those combined with testing/cracking activity.
c. Once cracked, no malicious activity other than changing index.html. We also expect
you to either fix the problem if you can and/or report how you got in and how to fix
the hole at the next meeting. Put you name, date, and time you got in at the top of
the index.php page.
Prize: Bragging rights and respect of your peers.
