That kind of feedback, accompanied with some details about the
hardware involved, could very well be useful to both projects.

There!  That's what I'm talking about--a qualified "better".

What I'm generally looking for are ssh, rsync, joe, and screen. 
After that, a browser like lynx, w3m, or links (in that order). 

The recent move to drop w3m to save space on the singularity was
a sad day, in my book, but probably worth it in the long run if
something better than browsex gets loaded for a graphical
browser.

I'll have to give damnsmalllinux a look on of these days.
