Hey everybody,

The Morningside College Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) is going to be holding an event later this month.  We are calling it Geekstock 2004.  What it will consist of is booths with some local venders selling parts and such.  We will also have tables for partswaps for anybody to partake in as well.  We may also offer an area for some fragging as well.

I am emailing you guys to see if the Sioux City LUG wants to put together an area at Geekstock for Linux questions, installs, tech support or anything you may want to do.  It could be a good way to get more people interested in the LUG and Linux as well.  We are willing to offer this area to you guys for free, all you have to do is show up.

It would also be great if any of you brought in some old parts that you want to sell.  We will have a table for you guys to sell your goods as well.

Geekstock 2004 will be held on April 24 from 10:00am - 4:00pm in the Olsen Student Center at Morningside College.  The website for the event is at http://csci2.morningside.edu/~geekstock.  It is going to be updated soon with more information on the event.

This event is going to be open to the public so please tell everyone you know about this so we can get a great turnout!

I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would email me back as soon as possible letting me know if you are interested or not.  I would love some feedback from the group as well!
