Anybody have
any ideas for an old RS/6000? Someday I will make it into a master battle-bot,
but I'd first like to get a little computing out of it if possible. It used
to be the "server" at my company years ago, now its simply in the way. I've
tried putting AIX on it (have the CDs with the machine yet) but its workings are
so foreign to me that I got pretty much got no where with the 10 or so hours I
threw at it. I've read that you can put Linux on an RS/6000, but its tricky.
Anybody have experience with that?
