Here are the nominations for new officers of the group:

President/Captain:  Ted Katseres (leader and figure head)
Vice President/Number One: Jason Zeisler (Helps president and becomes leader while the President dead or otherwise indisposed)
Information Officer: Pete Hogan (Manages website, mail list and helps with meeting notices)
Social Chair:  N/A - Responsible for determining locations for beer and banter and organizes an annual BBQ.

If you want to nominate someone or yourself please post you nomination to the list.  If you are nominating someone else, you have to have someone second your nomination.  Everyone should also have the right to refuse nominations for themselves.  Lets try to get nominations completed before August 9th.  I will send out a list of final nominations on August 10th.  I would like to nominate Mike Schieuer as social chair, can anyone second that nomination?

The election will be August 14th at the meeting.  If you cannot make the August meeting you can email your votes to [EMAIL PROTECTED] on or near the 14th.  If you are a meeting participant or subscriber you are eligible to vote.

Finally, we need to get a discuss going about the meeting topics for August.  We need a beginner/user topic and an advanced/technical topic for the meeting.  If you have any ideas email them to the list.  Is any interested in how to setup Yum?  I have been experimenting with Yum running it at home on a RH8 server using the Fedora RH8 repositories.
