When I was running KDE tonight, I pressed "Alt + Ctrl + F3" (or one of
those other F somethings keys), and I then got into a command driven
screen. It asked me to log in. I did so, then typed "gdm", got an error
about something else. I pressed ok, and it led me to a screen where I
could pick a session to go into "KDE, Gnome, Windowmaker,
Blackbox...etc". When I regularly startup the computer, it only gives me
the options of KDE, Windowmaker, and WVmn2 or something of that sort.
I have 4 questions for this:
1. Is KDE still running after I did the Alt + Ctrl + F3?
2. Did I somehow log out?
3. By doing this Alt + Ctrl + F_ thing, is it sort of like switching
workspaces?
4. How do I get all off those desktop selections when I startup the
computer, rather then just the normal 3?
