I honestly thought this was a leftover April Fools, but the stories were posted on the wrong day for that and several sources are covering it.

Basically MS is now offering their Virtual Server for free and offering support for major Linux distros (Red Hat, SuSE, Etc...) as well as plugins designed to allow Linux to run more cleanly on the Virtual Server.

Now, all joking aside about running a stable OS on top of an unstable OS...  Could this actually assist with Linux adoption?  Thoughts?  Brainfarts?  Angry flames?
