Subject: teamware->hg transition for sfwnv coming

It is looking like we will be transitioning the sfwnv gate to mercurial
in build 102 (100 has just opened, so that's about 4 weeks from now).
102 has been designated a quiet build for this purpose,
though this does not mean you should rush broken things into 101 :)
It also does not mean 102 will have nothing in it, but it may not
depending on how the transition goes.

If you haven't, you should look over the documentation provided for
the ON switch to mercurial. Such as that provided by:

http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/on-discuss/2008-August/000303.html

Much of the information (particularly the general mercurial usage
information) is also relevant to sfwnv, though there will be a few
differences as sfwnv does not include any closed source and the
gate will live on opensolaris.org. Hopefully that means things
will be simpler though :) More information about the gate itself
will appear when it is pulled out of thin air... I mean when it reveals
itself in a dream... no I mean when we have figured that out completely.
It's not just being made up as I go, honest. :)

And just in case - I know little about mercurial so far as well,
so asking me questions is unlikely to get you answers. A better bet
is to look through the docs as much as you can and then possibly
ask questions on scm-migration-dev at opensolaris.org (or sfwnv-discuss
perhaps).

        Mike
