[For the testing-discuss folks: since the Testing community is now endorsing the SCM Migration project, I've added testing-discuss to the project's monthly status updates.]
SCM Migration[1] project status Since our January report[2], we've mostly been working on bug fixing and getting our task list[3] under control. We published a somewhat squishy schedule earlier this week. We've also been identifying new bugs as a result of alpha testing by the project team. Jim Carlson has joined the project team. He'll be helping with technical work, and he'll be driving the migration of ON to Mercurial. We had been planning to replace our "recommit" implementation with something that should be simpler and more reliable. But the new code can trigger a Python regexp problem (which we mentioned last month) and a couple other problems, so we are currently planning on using the current recommit code. The plan for this month is basically to start attacking the critical path.
