With further alteration to fix a separate, also pre-existing bug, James tells me that my changes work. I'll be sending them out for review hopefully tomorrow. (I'm currently trying to find an old bug with a | in the synopsis I can use in the test suite, since we can't use ours there and also be able to integrate it...) Thanks, -- Rich
