Summary: RTI checks should tell me I can't connect, or otherwise fail in some useful way. Product: SCM Migration Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: Solaris 11/Nevada Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: rtichk AssignedTo: scm-migration-dev at opensolaris.org ReportedBy: richlowe at richlowe.net 'hg rtichk' will fail, right now, and tell me I'm not on SWAN. That code, however, is in cdm, not the RTI check. The rtichk itself, however, tells me this: Doing RTI check: Error: There doesn't seem to be an approved MarketingRelease RTI for the following bug IDs. Make sure your MarketingRelease RTI is approved before putting back to an official gate. 9999999 Which is entirely true, but the check can't possibly know that, if it doesn't know the answer (or is otherwise unable to discover the answer) it should say that, not take a vaguely safe guess. In theory, the DbLookup knows this (and various other, useful, error information). It just utterly refuses to tell the user. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.grommit.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.
