There's been some disagreement about when to move onnv-gate to opensolaris.org. Originally, I was thinking it made sense to do the move in two phases: first move to Mercurial on an internal server, then move to opensolaris.org. This way we could shake out any Mercurial-specific issues before dealing with hosting issues.
Dave Marker and Rich Lowe have convinced me that doing it all at once will be (a) less work, and (b) less confusing for internal developers. But I'm not sure we have consensus. So I've updated the "scope" section of the project web page but left it ambiguous for now. mike
