Cadmium will currently crash if the parent and child workspace have no inherent
familial relationship (ie, there are no two nodes, other than the implicit
-1:0000 that are shared between them).
In practice, this is unlikely to be done via an intentional act (and where it
is, it is most likely the wrong thing to have done), as such Cdm should abort
when it notices such a thing.
