The comment was a belated response to a question from John (see
comment 3 in bugzilla).  I had assumed he was talking about the 2nd
line in 

    athyra$ hg -R /net/onnv/export/gate-hg log -l 10 
    Not trusting file /net/onnv/export/gate-hg/.hg/hgrc from untrusted user 
daemon, group other
