nThis:
Before cdm moves to requiring Mercurial 0.9.5, the current copy needs a version
check to tell the user what we expect them to be using v. what they are using
(which is already in the cdm-095 bits), to complete the other half of the
cycle. People trying to use old cdm with new mercurial (rather than
vice-versa).
