Usage: scmbug_vdd_generator [arguments]
  --repository=<path>      The CVSROOT equivalent. Do NOT use a file://
prefix for Subversion


Perhaps you issued:

scmbug_vdd_generator --repository=file:///var/...

?? You shouldn't. You should issue:

scmbug_vdd_generator --repository=/var/...
