Isn't this something that the bugtracker should provide an interface for ? e.g. the appropriate configuration variables if a bugtracker indeed supports multiple databases ? I haven't toyed with a 2.22.x or greater Bugzilla yet to investigate how to do it. I'd welcome a patch.
