Hi Chandra, A permission-oriented approach to tagging, committing, and supplying a bug id was suggested in the past:
http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=859 But no progress was made towards this direction. We'd certainly like to support this but there are no short-term plans to do so. A patch would be welcome of course.
