Yes, Scmbug has only been tested with 1.4.0. The aim was to test it with
the 1.4.x line, and I don't expect changes in future 1.4.x versions (or
at least, we are not testing for any with other SCM systems). So it
should support 1.4.3 without problems.

Have you configured daemon.conf to correctly specify the bugtracker
version number ? If you don't say it's version 3.0.0, the default
installation may think it's 2.22.0, hence the globals.pl check.
