Strace shows us: I also tracked this: http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=1024#c1 I suspect the error might have been fixed by: http://bugzilla.mkgnu.net/show_bug.cgi?id=1073 This fix has not been released yet.
