as a conservative move, i upgraded to version 5.8.8 build 824 (i previously had build 822), but that didn't solve the problem. i'll upgrade to 5.10 as soon as i can (and after i make sure bugzilla doesn't have a problem with it) and see if that helps.
i just noticed that the error message in the activity log has this line at the end about not being able to initialize bugzilla: 2008/09/10 00:04:37 Scmbug WARN> Daemon.pm:80:Scmbug::Daemon::Daemon::read_configuration - Read configuration file 'C:/Program Files/Scmbug/etc/scmbug/daemon.conf' 2008/09/10 00:04:37 Scmbug ERROR> Daemon.pm:113:Scmbug::Daemon::Daemon::read_configuration - ******************************************* ** ** ** Scmbug error 79: Package 'DBI' v1.50 not found. v0 found instead. This could be due to an unsupported version of this system, or misconfiguration. ** ** ******************************************* i actually have bugzilla 3.0.4 (soon to be 3.0.5 if not 3.2). but when i tried to set the bugzilla version to something higher than 3.0.0 (i believe it was 3.0.2 at the time) in daemon.conf, scmubug complained that this version is not supported. i hope i won't have another probelm to solve once i solve the dbi problem. tsahi -- The day Micro$oft sells something that doesn't SUCK is the day they start selling vacuum cleaners. http://www.geocities.com/tsahi_75 ----- Original Message ---- > From: Kristis Makris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: Thorsten Schöning <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: scmbug-users <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, September 9, 2008 7:19:28 AM > Subject: Re: [scmbug-users] cannot install glue > > On Thu, 2008-08-14 at 08:50 +0200, Thorsten Schöning wrote: > > Guten Tag Tsahi Asher, > > am Mittwoch, 13.
