well, the talk was okay, I hope. I had prepared too many slides, so I had to skip a few things. Not sure if all of the listeners could follow the red thread...but the slides are online (I'll post the link to the video, once it's published) so people can look up things later.
Anyway, one could see the SCons logo at the start, and lots of links to our project at the end...that was the most important part to me. ;)
While talking to several people, they were quite interested and didn't seem to know that SCons really exists. This made me think about whether we should consider to translate (at least parts of) our basic documentation, or the basic webpages to some other languages like French, Spanish, Portuguese...but that's a discussion for another day.
I also met David Cournapeau (some of you guys will remember him), and he told me to say "hello". He was very pleased to hear that we're moving on with the project, and don't stick to Python 1.5x anymore. ;)
I'll hit the street now, and roam around Lyon a bit...
