I (with support!) rejected using six since without the need to support Python 2.6 future can be used instead. Future is much more lightweight than six. I have to admit given the demise of Python 2 in 2020, I am all for ditching Python 2 support entirely. People wanting to continue to use Python 2 should be quite happy using an older version of SCons. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:[email protected] 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: [email protected] London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
