OK, OK, I think you're right, especially since a tape arrived here from the 
Gas Board (although the writing looked suspiciously like N Gatherer's).

Probably is the artists- and you're right again, it's down to getting more 
appropriate cash from Performing Rights.  Up till recently, I think anything 
trad. was put in a big pot, then divvied up according to artist's earnings, 
which meant Paul McCartney got most of anything going.
That's changed now I believe.

Recently, I got a PRS statement for a tune I wrote- came to 3p.  They're going 
to let it build up to the price of a stamp before sending the cheque.
