Thnaks for your comments Jack, about the Yeomanry and Militia also about
bass lines. I thought it was a bit late for fugured bass. I just thought
that some folk were perhaps still in the habit of using this method. Do
look at God SAve the King amd Mr Marshall's Grand Minuet.

I do not know what Alberti bass is, Carol, but would like to know.
It is not our intention to add anything that is not there. There are some
apparently well composed bass parts while some are sparse and perfunctory.
Ideally everything would be notated. We have a volunteer who will do about
eight of the tunes with full bass parts. Then, I think we'll let list
mebers have alook and see what they think.
If Jack or anyone wnats to join in adding the bass parts that are less
dramatic, then feel free.
