That strathspey is also reproduced in "The Caledonian Companion" on
p54. key of G.
There is a lot of bio info about Peter Hardie (c1775 to 1863). He
lived in Dunkeld, Pertshire. He's best remembered as a violin maker.
But apparently he had composing talents as well.
