Hi Jan--

Skinner's Left Handed Fiddler was named for George Taylor of Aberdeen, whose 
son also was a left-handed fiddler. 

Skinner composed "The Mathematician" for a Dr. Clark, Cairo, but I don't know 
anything about him. 

Don't know about the Acrobat.
