I sat and played something slightly related to Carolan's Lament Owen Roe
O'Neill on guitar; not the same, I was trying to find something in the
instrument which expressed what I was thinking. I played the same every
night since Tuesday and it has gradually begun to take shape, but it
wasn't until some strong discords found their way out that it began to
express what I feel. Many laments don't really contain much anger and
somehow this needs an expression for anger as well as sorrow.
