I think composing tunes in a minor key is a double-edged sword: on the
one hand it's relatively easy to write something which sounds good, but
on the other, it's difficult to come up with something that doesn't
have elements of lots of other minor tunes. Once I wrote a B minor jig
which I was proud of, only to find much later that it was extremely
similar to a Strathspey in Kerr's! 

I'm fairly pleased with the following, although if anyone comes out and
says "Oh yes, that's so like 'Lady Boyes of Bangcock' by Dave Francis!"
I'll go in the huff.
