Anent North Sea Gas: I've heard them on the radio lately - they have a new
fiddler, a young woman, and are definitely worth hearing.  A few years ago
I would have said they were a group to avoid - bog-standard pub act, nothing
distinctive about them.  She's livened them up something amazing.

They're playing in the village pub here shortly; the manager has started
getting regular professional folk acts in, on top of hosting the folk
club, the accordion and fiddle club, a Scottish country dance group and
occasionally the brass band.
