Now well known as the Wee Hieland Laddie. Below is how I tend to play it, with g#s. I think it goes better on the fiddle like that. Makes a great fiddle march. There's another variation which wanders outside the confines of the GHB scale which I heard sung on the White Heather Club, I think by Anne and Laura Brand. JTBairns recorded that version along with the song Gude Claret.
