I just got a copy of the bugbear virus that must have come from someone
reading this list. It was not routed through scots-l itself. Here are
the relevant parts of the header and body:

The way bugbear works, that DID NOT come from anyone called "thelanes",
but it *did* come from someone with a Tiscali account who had "thelanes"
in their address book. I don't know of anyone posting here from Tiscali,
so it must have been a lurker.

If you are a Tiscali user who runs Microsoft internet software on
Windows (other platforms are unaffected), assume you have a problem
and take the appropriate measures (which does *not* mean emailing
apologies or warnings to everybody in sight).

If I got that one, scots-l must be getting a flood of them - I assume
Toby's filtering them out.
