That is interesting. In the front of _Harp and Claymore_ Skinner give tempos for Strathspeys and Reels as 1/2 note = 96 and 126, respectively, which he states "represents 20 seconds for the Strathspey, and 15 for the Reel."

136. Compared with every other reference I have found, that is
To get from 108 to 130 bpm, you would need to speed up the recording (130/108=1.203) 20%. That would transpose the recording by about 3 sharps. From D to B, A to F#. Tunes in Bb would become G though.
