Heard and made. I have some great recordings of some of the legendary
players tearing it up at house parties.
I've also personally reached new highs and lows of playing at various
house parties. It usually has something to do with how much alcohol I
have in my bloodstream before it's my turn to chop wood :-) Experience
has taught me, just enough but not too much is the ticket, and no whisky
or lager before I have my first go. If I close my eyes during a group of
tunes, and I feel like I'm dancing the square set instead of playing the
music, well then laddie, I know I have a problem! :-)
Heh.. I have some recordings of some of the legends where they obviously
didn't follow my pre-performance alcohol moderation policy, their
intonation is a little but "amusing" in places :-)
