I agree with Jan. I think I would have put "Portrait..." as his most traditional album but it's been a while since I've heard it and I may be misremembering it. Toby, your definition of "fusion" must be different than mine; when I think of fusion I think of groups like The Peatbog Faeries and Shooglenifty, not Alasdair Fraser!
