I've raided some charity shops, junk shops and 2nd hand record shops
over the past week, after resisting the temptation for quite a while.
Picked up some items perhaps of interest...

Two for my "Obscure artists" database (any further information about
these artists would be gratefully received):

THE PETERMEN
Mike Petrie of Greenock and Vic Peterson of Dundee. 1968.
Scottish songs and ballads accompanied by guitar.

THE FIFE REIVERS
Jim and Maureen Laing and their 12-year-old son Russell. 1969.

And some others...

CEILIDH NIGHT AT THE WELLBANK ARMS
Includes Alec Green on whistle and Robbie Shepherd singing "If I Were a
Rich Man" (it doesn't bear thinking about, does it?).

BALLAD FOLK
Jean Redpath with Charlie Murray, Lizzie Higgins, Archie Fisher, Mirk,
The Gaugers, Jimmy Hutchison, Gordeanna McCulloch, Willie Scott, etc
All from a 1970s BBC television series.

UNITY CREATES STRENGTH
Dominic Behan, Alex Campbell, Ian Campbell, etc.
The singers involved "gave their services free to show solidarity with
the new Clydesiders".

ORFEO
Archie Fisher's 1970 classic. I've been looking for this one for ages.

FIDDLERS THREE PLUS TWO VOL 2
I've had vol 1 for a while, so I was pleased to find vol 2. The
fiddlers are Bob Christie, Gavin McIntyre and Hector McLeod, about whom
I know nothing.

Am I completely mad? Should I get a life?
