Hi,
I'm not sure what David's original intention was but already everyone
has went into IT money making mode and talking about gaps in markets
etc. I can think of a really great reason to build a distro: It would be
good fun. As for marketing it, I could see how that would be enjoyable
too; building a website, proper documentation etc. etc.
If David's intention was to take over the world/become rich with his
distro idea then all the comments people have made stand but it he
simply thinks it would be interesting and enjoyable then I don't see any
problem.
I'm going back to read my LFS documentation now :)
