Saw this today: http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/psib/ It's a bill which would require people in the "Security Industry" to be licensed by the Home Office. Although sold on the basis of tackling "Cowboy Clampers" and "Drug Dealing Bouncers", it makes specific reference to "Security Consultants". Whether consultants are actually at the same point in peoples estimations as drug-dealing cowboys, I leave to you to decide ;) On the other hand I'm quite looking forward to our next audit.......
